Got a very nice multi-tool recently. In fact, I may like it better than I do my Leatherman Wave. It certainly feels more solid than the Leatherman. The only negative I can find is the knives do not open one handed and the pliers are not needle nosed. Both the Swisstool RS and Wave are great tools and I would recommend either one of them to anyone. If you can’t decide between the two, purchase both. You will not regret it.
Update: After having both tools for amount a year now, I can tell you that I use the Wave everyday and never touch the Swisstool RS. The reason is not that I prefer the Wave over the RS, but rather I want the RS to stay in like new condition. It’s like a piece of jewel and so I do not want to get scratches or run the possibility of breaking it. The Wave works great and seems like a workhorse. I’m glad I purchased both, but unfortunately, I only look at the Swisstool. I never actually use it.

I have the Swisstool RS and it most certainly does have outside opening knives. All the tools are accessible from the outside and all of them lock. The only thing it doesn’t have is one-hand opening blades. But it is possible to open every single tool one-handed.
Sorry for the mistake. I meant it didn’t have one handed opening. Sorry for the mistake. I will correct it.
